March is the month we celebrate social workers! Community- base social workers deliver invaluable and often unsung heroic care to clients with complicated needs. Are there companies that provide services to address cyclical crises of clients impacted by social determinants of health care? The new crises that arise over and over after the social worker and/or the case manager’s case file is closed? Services that address the non-clinical behaviors that lead to new health crises over and over where management occurs in the client’s social environment? Is this a new niche, especially for patients suffering from illnesses/ injuries as a result of violence or trauma?
